Handle codeblocks (gfm?)

For one more time I got to conclusion that I <3 this. But it would be more awesome if it can handle code blocks in the leftside panel. Or is there some option to do this?

It should do that already, but just the button is not in the demo. MediumEditor has a button for that. I guess it's pre.

Hey! Unfortunately, formatting with pre does not work when converting to Markdown.
Can you look into that?
