Question on applying FdbCompress to existing db

Hi!

Is it possible to apply FdbCompress plugin on existing db?
I have a cordova app which uses ForerunnerDb for offline persistence, and it works excellent! However users tend to complain that the size of the app is growing as time goes. My idea was to apply FdbCompress plugin, but if I add it to the plugin chain, then the app can't read previously persisted data. Is there a trick to resolve this?
