proplates appearing multiple times after scrolling

in the mastodon advanced view: if i scroll down in a column and then (quickly) back up, the proplate gets appended again, causing it to display twice. (up to multiple times if repeated).
(also happens if i scroll down only 1-2 posts, with a short wait, and then back up)

this happens when viewing a detailed-status as well
