CoronaWatchNL iOS App

First of all: thank you for creating this project and everyone contributing. It's awesome!

I like to keep track of daily numbers on my phone/tablet/watch/whatever and wanted something more convenient than going to a website. So I build a small iOS app with a widget that shows me latest numbers at a glance. I've been using it for about a week now and I wanted to publish it on App Store but Apple doesn't allow currently publishing apps around COVID-19 by individuals.

App Store Rejection

Here's my rejection after applying for testing with external testers:

Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage

We found in our review that your app provides services or requires sensitive user information related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the COVID-19 pandemic is a public health crisis, services and information related to it are considered to be part of the healthcare industry. In addition, the seller and company names associated with your app are not from a recognized institution, such as a governmental entity, hospital, insurance company, non-governmental organization, or university.

Per section 5.1.1 (ix) of the App Store Review Guidelines, apps that provide services or collect sensitive user information in highly-regulated fields, such as healthcare, should be submitted by a legal entity that provides these services, and not by an individual developer.

Using University Account?

With that door closed I'm wondering if Utrecht University, or any other recognised organisation, would be open to publish the app?

Of course the code would be public, would not include any analytics or collecting any personal information, just a more convenient way of accessing the information.

Let me know what you think. I, as a seasoned iOS developer, would be more than happy to develop, maintain and take care of any distribution logistics.

@J535D165 Any thoughts on this from the side of Utrecht University?
