Worth saying repos should normally only have a single branch, master, to reduce confusion?
Tell folks to make releases for submitted version 1, etc., up to acceptance? Or is this a one-time thing?

I think I will leave conversation about branches out of the instructions for now. I think most users will work off of the main specifically for release purposes. Thanks!
