Cut off text field initially shows just Show more button (Mx9)

Trying this widget in Mendix 9 (version 9.6.6) when opening the page the value shows just "...Show more"
After clicking it open, it shows the whole value (and sticks Show less straight after).
When closing it again, it correctly shows the cut off value with ...Show more after it.

Seems to be a duplicate of Issue #3 , my bad
