I try to unlock bios on my laptop, but it show me "write variable failed: 0x0000001A".I know it means write protection, but is there any different with code 0x00000008 ?
my RU.EFI version is RU5.28

1A = Security violation
08 = Write protection
They are basically preventing you from modifying the variable. There is no way to get around it...
