Can you suggest a Bluetooth USB adapter for Linux and Windows

I am trying to get OpenHRV running, and so far using two older Bluetooth dongles failing to make any progress in either Linux or Windows.
Can you suggest an adapter that you know works?
In Windows, I have paired my Polar H10 and can see it in the Bluetooth devices.
Using the precompiled OpenHRV.exe, it sees it when the scan button is used.
Clicking on displays the message "Connecting to sensor at D1:....." but nothing else happens, that message just stays there.
Suggestions? Thanks!
@stuartlynne, thanks for the issue! So far, I only used OpenHRV
without a Bluetooth dongle / adapter. Have you tried without the dongle?
Which Windows version are you on? I've tested the latest OpenHRV
version (0.2.0) on Windows 10 21H1.
Interesting, would be very useful if you posted an update if you can get it to work? I'm curious if it works on Windows 11, haven't been able to test this myself yet. Also, a recommendation for a Bluetooth dongle would be handy for the docs.
NB: I edited the previous two comments for readability (GitHub doesn't seem to handle responses from mail that well).
