Volume Issues

Hi
Thanx for replying.
So if I understand correclty, JQBX fetches the volume from my Spotify setting and use that in the web app? Then I understand why this is happening.
My standard Spotify setting in the desktop app is 100% (because I adjust my computer speakers' volume separately, and seldom use the home cinema as output from the computer). My home cinema is set to 15-20% volume as default.
Case description:
- I start JQBX. The volume is set to 100% and the default output is set to my wi-fi connected home cinema (why, I dont' know?)
- Music starts playing at the volume level of my home cinema (e.g. 20%), even if JQBX is set to 100%.
- As soon as I try to change the volume slider in JQBX, it instantly increases the volume on my home cinema to 100% before I have a chance to do anything. And since there's a latency in the volume slider, there's a second or two delay before the volume changes on the home cinema, and that's when it almost destroys my speakers.
Suggestions:
Set default volume to something low independently of the Spotify setting, and let the user then increase it if needed.
Look over the latency of the volume slider.
Change the behavior of playback devices. Set JQBX web player as default output, so the sound comes from the desktop's speakers. And if the user want's to change that, he can use the existing function for that. For me, the web app is run on my desktop computer, but it still doesn't use my default sound output (computer speakers and volume settings).
Also, no offence, I'm kind of thinking why should there be a volume slider in the web app in the first place? The app's core functionality is the social and collaborative aspects of being a DJ, chatting and listening to other's track suggestions. Let the app do what it does best - que tracks etc, and let the user control the output.
