Can I unpack something that was packed by the program itself?

I packed the .core .stream files to a .bin file and now I want to extra the core.stream back to edit it. Is there a way to do so?

I would like to know the same thing. I want to make edits to existing Horizon Zero Dawn mods and so I want to unpack the .bin files that mod makers on the Nexus post. Would be great to know if this is possible. From what I have tried, the unpacker will state "Failed to find initial archive" when trying to load a directory other than the Packed_DX12.
