JingOS missing default-settings package breaking ppa and apt repo installation

I've raised this problem in discord and am recording it here for the team.
JingOS is missing a jingos-default-settings
package which is used among other things to create the /usr/share/python-apt/templates/jingos.mirrors
file which allows adding of apt repos and ppas. This is a necessary template file for add-apt-repository and other ubuntu derivates (popos, kali linux, etc) have these files in place and is the reason why it is broken currently.
I suggest looking at the popos default settings package for how to set it up or reach out to ubuntu devs http://ppa.launchpad.net/system76/pop/ubuntu/pool/main/p/pop-default-settings/
