createRootComposableInstance() seems to ignore composableResource.onCreateViewmodel

I haven't work on the framework for over a year and at that time I was not getting notifications from Github on issues that were posted. The framework has since been updated. I'll consider this issue too outdated at this stage to proceed with it, but will reopen it if someone reports the same issue. Haven't seen this issue in the sample app.
