Intel sytax vs. ATT Syntax by default

I think it might be better if we used AT&T syntax by default. I think the linux user base that will be using ROPGadget will expect AT&T assembly by default. Perhaps this isn't true and I am simply too used to GCC and GNU as so please correct me if I am wrong.
Also obviously the user can change which one he is using so it isn't that big of a deal either way.

As you say, it all boils down to preference. I prefer Intel though, as do most people I know in the security community, so I'm not convinced about AT&T.

Okay, I suppose other tools (ida pro for example) do use Intel so we can stick with that.

Is there at least a flag to specify AT&T syntax or is that not even an option? I'd personally really like the option
