Did you try using just Remote Control alone with MM?

  • I have and the error still happening

Description

after installing and setting up everything i tried to assess the remote through the url that was given, my laptop (that i tried to connect with) is on the same network as the rsp, i have tried several things such as trying to change ports, adding ips to the whitelist and still nothing.

Expected behavior

website should load

Current behavior

Unable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 10.0.0.17:8080

Steps to reproduce

  1. clone module
  2. install node packages
  3. place in modules folder
  4. add the code snippet in config.js to view the url
  5. npm run start
  6. (on laptop) enter url given
  7. Unable to connect
