DiscordBot was one of the first projects I ever worked with in C#, it was a learning project for me. I did run the bot publicly on free AWS hosting, but decided to no longer run the bot after the free hosting expired.
DiscordBot was never fully updated to work with slash commands, however there was a branch that attempted this, but we didn't push through at finish the work.
You are free to use either the old version of the bot or the incomplete conversion to slash commands branch, however you will need to find your own hosting for the bot. It can run either locally on your PC or on a free AWS instance. Thanks for understanding that I no longer wish to invest any time in updating or money in running this bot.
