Massive increase in CPU usage since version 3.0.0RC1 and 3.0.0 final release

Since the upgrade to version 3.0.0RC1, and continuing with version 3.0.0 final release, my system is showing a massive increase in CPU usage.

Anybody else noted the same situation?

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04
  • Python Version 3.9
  • Pytubefix Version 3.0.0RC1 and 3.0.0

I could locate the issue.
It started at the same time the upgrade was done, but it is not related to pytubefix.
