Feature Request - Deeper static personalization

Closed this issue · 4 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

While with other themes the "color.ini" file can be modified to tweak the static colors, here the static color selection in the UI seems to override everything through the .js.
e.g. Can't seem to set a blue player with black text and red buttons.

Describe the solution you'd like

Three possibilities in order of awesomeness.

  1. Static advanced UI option. Extends the current UI color selection to all elements of the UI.
  2. Static advanced text option. Similar to the current "custom CSS", it contains by default the text you'd usually find in the "color.ini" file. Edit the text, edit the color.
  3. Generate and link to a "color.ini" file to be used as input by the .js.

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • The "color.ini" is overridden. "config color_scheme base" doesn't seem to work.
  • I'm not able to modify the .js myself, but I went through it and couldn't find an easy solution for the layman.

Thank you!

I've added this to my list, had this idea too but it's not the highest priority right now. I'd implement it by adding Color Selection Algorithm: Advanced Static where the user could open a popup to manually change all of the colors or import a color.ini file.

Sounds great~
Thanks for the mod, it works like a charm.
