Program calendar highlights wrong date

Always selects/highlights the the current date.
The correct behavior should be to highlight the selected date and if none is selected fallback to current.

this is fixed with the new redesign. There are now 2 selectors on the calendar widget. One for the current date and one for the clicked date.
