Mercury Capsule parachute fairing.

For some reason the Mercury parachute fairing wont decouple from the parachute on staging, There are two possible positions I can put it in, one with the white showing a little and the other with it below, clipped into the top of the capsule. Neither of these positions allows the fairing to decouple. This doesn't affect the usability of the parachutes, but it definitely doesn't seem right.

Ultrarunningkid on reddit has the same issue.
