Persistent Thrust Mod making RD-101/2/3 Plume not display

I am having an issue with the RD-101,102, 103 plumes not working on the RD-100 model. The RD-100 config works just fine but the other configs on that model do not seem to work. I noticed this problem while using the "Master" version of RO-Engines but I also tried replacing the RD-100 engine and plume configs from the release version of RO-Engines with no impact on Plumes. Randomly testing some other engine models like the A4 did not encounter this problem.
As a side not all of the ground dust particles that kick up on engine ignition display just no plume.
After some more testing I am not sure it is an RO-Engines problem. The plume seems to work on a test install (less additional mods) of my 1.8.1 RP-1/RSSRO build. might be an interaction with another mod though I am not sure what that could be. On my full install/build where the problem happens I am running the master versions from a couple of days ago of RP-1 and RO.
Found the "bug" killing my RD-100 plumes! Looks like there is some sort of conflict with the Persistent Thrust plugin mod. I have no idea what is going on but as soon as you get rid of that mod the plumes come back. I'm guessing that is has something to do with the way they do something with the MM patching but who knows and why those were the only configs that seemed to be impacted I'll never be able to figure out.
