As you can see, the textures are wierd.

I don't see anything wrong with the LES, and the parts in the second screenshot are not part of the express install?
Look at the top left corner of the editor.
If you place down those grey parts, the texture would be pink.

Well, the observation that the express install does not include most of the circled parts stands. I can also not reproduce the issues with the LRV and Apollo D2:
Installed it via ckan as well as camera tools.
Must be an issue with the files themselves. If you can't reproduce it, it must be my PC or ksp install itself
That'd be likely, yes.
I'd like to reiterate that Github is not the correct place for installation support. I suggest posting instead on Discord, Reddit, or the forums.

Deleted ALL of the files, then reinstalled via steam, and got the mods via CKAN.
How did this happen again?
PS KSP freezes in SXT whilst loading.
