HA doesn't detect PLF12 after adoption into ESPHome (nor before)

I put a new PLF12 on my network and was surprised when it didn't show up in Home Assistant, so I manually updated its firmware. It got into some weird state where I had to use the long-press to reset it. I put it back on the wifi network and I could access the web UI but still no HA. So I went to your docs page and decided to try the ESPHome method you suggested.
I installed the ESPHome addon and adopted a couple of devices. They appeared to install OK, but at least one of the PLF10s keeps rebooting and complaining about "Socket operation failed: BAD_INDICATOR errno=11" and doesn't stay online long enough to do anything with it. I'm going to try to reset it and see if I can get it to be stable.
The original PLF12 that I was trying to get into HA still never showed up. I'm uploading logs from one one that is still offline, but I'm not even sure what info to provide to get help in troubleshooting.
Sorry I forgot to upload these. The rebooting PLF10 seems to have resolved itself?
I'm still unable to find the PLF12 in HA despite it being adopted into ESPHome. I read through the Troubleshooting guides and didn't see anything about this.
I was able to manually add the device.
