Updates in ESPHome / Home Assistant fail

When an update becomes available, there is not enough storage in the device for the compiled firmware to be pushed to the device. Home Assistant sees an update is available and will attempt (and silently fail) to upgrade the firmware on the switch. As a workaround, flashing to an OTA only firmware prior to updating a fully configured firmware frees up enough memory for the OTA update to succeed.
I am unsure if this issue is better addressed here or in the ESPHome project. I appreciate your advice and assistance!
