The app asks for notification permission right when it’s opened for the first time. We know why that is but the user wouldn’t. Best practice is to only ask after the user has taken some sort of action that would require this permission so they know why it’s being asked.

@saintsoldierx this one needs a quick design.
We need to keep the notification at first launch because it's not only tied to reminder feature. We have also used this capability for things like covid-19, sarbat Khalsa, Ukraine notifications.
What we need to do is explain why notification permission is required.
