'Undead' rotor on engine damage

Describe the bug
Upon sustaining damage, the rotor sometimes does not shut down once engines are turned off.
The rotor remains active, and responds to collective input. Due to the helicopter not being fully 'shut down', repair is likewise impossible.
The sustained damage was caused by autocannons and MG fire, and could be classified as 'medium'. It required repairs, but I wasn't in danger of falling out of the sky.
To Reproduce
Still unclear, I've noticed it happen twice or trice so far in multiplayer, in both instances after sustaining damage, but haven't had the time to try and replicate it to confirm if it's plain engine damage, or something else.
If damage is sustained, and the effect occurs, the main result is observable when the engines are completely shut down.
Expected behavior
Rotor ceasing rotation when engines are shut down, as per normal operating behaviour.
