Cannot nest bold and italics

Using an example from the CommonMark tutorial, this should bold and italic American Oxygen. Using CommonMark.net it only does the italic:
The music video for Rihanna’s song **_American Oxygen_** depicts various moments from American history, including the inauguration of Barack Obama.
It works correctly as well in GitHubs editor:
