Knowage log4j 1.x Migration to log4j 2.x

I looked through some other Knowage posts and saw here that you were evaluating a migration to the latest log4j version as Knowage currently uses log4j v1.X which reached its end of life in 2016. Would you be able to provide an estimate of when you'd be ready to release a patch to upgrade the log4j version? Just a rough guess like next February or next Spring is fine but if you have more details that would be great. Thanks in advance.

as you said, Knowage currently uses log4j 1; moreover, many of its dependencies use log4j 1 as well (even their latest versions), therefore we are trying to use the log4j 1 to log4j 2 bridge in a way that APIs remain the same but runtime engine is using the latest log4j 2 release.
Hopefully we will release a new version on January/February with the bridge in place.
