AllVisitors instead of AllHits?

Any chance we can get a function added that will show all unique visitors? Something like AllVisitors($days) instead of AllHits().
What I am looking to show is How many unique visitors we've had today, the last 7 days, and the last 30 days.
It would also be amazing to get a version of both functions that allows me to give 2 dates for it to be between so I can pull July by giving it the 1st and the 31st.
