Land Use classification

Dear Lokendra,
I hope that you are doing well.
I'm using your scripts to preprocess my data for VIC. I would like to have some clarifications regarding the land classes. I'm using GLC2000 (https://forobs.jrc.ec.europa.eu/data/products/glc2000/Africa_v5_Grid.zip). These data contain 27 land classes while the RootingDepths.csv file you prepared takes into account 20 land classes. I would like to know how to adapt the RootingDepths.csv file to be able to use the GLC2000 data on Africa.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I got the root depth and fraction data from someone and classified my land use file according to it. You can also reclassify your GLC file according to the rooting depth file or you can look for the data of rooting depths for the missing land classes in the GLC.

Dear Lokendra,
Thank you for your quick response. I will manage to look for the data related to the missing land classes. However, I would like to have, if possible, the names of the land classes that are in the file RootingDepths.csv (There are 20 land classes and the names of these classes are missing). This will allow me to complete the data of the missing land classes in my area.
Thank you in advance.

There are a total of 20 land classes and their names are given in another file named- vegetation_library_file.txt.

Dear Lokendra,
Thank you for these clarification. Could you, please share the file named vegetation_library_file.txt with me?
Thank you.

It's already provided with all the files.

Dear Lokendra,
Thank you for your support. I have just seen it.
The version of the scripts I had downloaded is over a year old so didn't include the file vegetation_library_file.txt. I have just seen it in your repository.
Best regards,
/Bernard
