Purchasing a Rupee in the Auction when at max Rupees doesn't award the Rupees

The 80 Rupee auction item is a Red Rupee. While at 200 Rupees without any wallet upgrades, I won the auction for 140 Rupees. My Rupee count was reduced to 60, rather than 80.

I presume the code for adding Rupees runs before the code for removing it, and since I was at max Rupees, I didn't earn the 20.
