browserify: flakey macOS test timeout

A test has been flakey and liking to timeout recently
on main since
then couple more times
so we disabled
and we'd like to
- determine/fix the cause
- note any diffs/inconsistencies in ci job setup of passing vs failing tests
- poss quickfix before (e.g. bumping our gha macos runner image to 13/14beta)
- re-enable the scenario tests

no timeout locally (macOS 14.3.1) all 25 pass
