Cannot add wave-dice-robot to my Google Wave account

Closed this issue · 3 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Tried to visit link to see app, got "Link is broken" error msg.
2. Copied "dice-y@appspot.com" link and tried to add as extension,
generated error msg "Aw, snap! There was a problem loading this extension."
3.Tried to "Add gadget by URL," got an image of a broken
gadget/extension/"puzzle piece" icon.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Desperately want this app for an online game I'm developing - still
learning Google Wave, but not sure how to add this to my Google Wave.
Could you provide instructions?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Using
Google Wave, assuming it's the latest-and-greatest. I have two systems at
home, one using Ubuntu and one using MS Vista Home, but I don't see how
that would effect anything, as all of this is happening in my Firefox
browser on both machines.

Please provide any additional information below.
Sorry, not really a problem with your app, just a problem with GETTING it.
 Please help? Thanks.

Could you give me the URL for the link that was broken to you?

Regarding adding Dicy: this is a robot, not an extension. You have to add it as
a
normal participant.

Please let me know if it fixed your problems.

It resolved the problem, absolutely. I now have access to Dicy, and I wanted
to tell
you that it's terrific. I rolled a one million-sided dice today, and feel like
a
GAMING GOD!!! Thanks for the great app, and your help today.
