Cannot login with two factors authentication enabled.

If you enabled two factors authentication in your Google account you cannot login in APK Downloader, it says authentication failed, incorrect username or password.

have you used the applications specific password instead of your regular password for login in the extension?

Sorry, that was my fault, but introducing support for two steps verification would be nice.

With 2FA enabled, you must use app-specific passwords as mentioned by karlcheong. Will it help if a link is added to the app-specific passwords page?
