x11vnc's .desktop contains the line
Icon=computer
which for an icon theme, such as numix, whitesur, etc., is much too generic as theming it could make the icon show up in unexpected places. see numixproject/numix-core#5794 for more. Please pick a more specific name, such as:
Icon=x11vnc
