Describe the bug
So, I changed youtube theme from dark mode, to light mode to check the current youtube redesign. It appears that when opening a livestream, hyperchat still in dark mode even though the setting is set to "Use YouTube theme". Refreshing/clearing cache didn't fix it either. Here a screenshot:
Steps To Reproduce
- Use YouTube dark theme
- Set your Appearance > Theme setting to "Use YouTube theme"
- Change your YouTube theme from dark to light
- It appears that Hyperchat still using dark theme even though the setting says otherwise
Expected behavior
Hyperchat use the YouTube theme and set to light mode
What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

When used in conjunction with LiveTL, YouTube seems to freak out and pick the wrong chat theme. You can see that the actual theme of non-HyperChat elements are also dark, so it's not something we can fix super easily unfortunately

Oh, that indeed seems the case. Without LiveTL active, the setting works properly now.
