Kernel-Panic on UGW4

Closed this issue · 2 comments

Hi everyone.

We're superhappy with the possibility to run Wireguard on Unifi-Routers. It' really fast and (most of the time) stable.

Unfortunately we have one device that experiences a bit more traffic (often to the limits of what the hardware is capable to deliver as it is connected to a Gigabit WAN connection). This device crashes and reboots once in a while (like every couple of days). I attached the console-output of the moment it crashed.

To make sure it's not faulty hardware, we already replaced the appliance itself once.

We're using the most recent version of Wireguard (0.0.20190913) and the most recent version of the Ubiquiti-Firmware (4.4.44.5213871). The advanced-settings of the device are as follows:

Help in who this can be debugged and resolved are highly appreciated.

There it goes again...

This crashdump includes some more information:

I got access to a pre-release firmware for the USG that apparently fixed the issue: v4.4.46.5219000

I think they will ship this version in a couple of days.
