Please allow a bigger font, I struggle to read the counter.

For me the size of Tab Count Icon extension would be perfect : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/tab-count-icon/.

On the left, your extension. On the right, Tab Count Plus's extension.

The reason why I still prefer your extension is the "click" feature, where it shows a summary of opened tabs and windows, feature missing from the other extension. Having a bigger font would make it perfect.

I think Tab Count Icon is stretching vertically and using bold text. IIRC, I didn't do that because then numbers with 4 digits were less readable. It can be possible to do different things depending on the number of digits, though.

Wow... Must have some serious amount of RAM to open over a 1000 tabs !
