Implement several pairwise methods from the research document

this should be done so that the system is deployed with a host of options for comparison metrics. Most of these algorithms can be found online, but may require small modifications to make them work for our system

I see now this is in the finished project milestone, but I'll leave a link here to an open source (MIT license) project available on maven central that implements a number of comparison methods.
