"immutability" of values in kdeglobals ignored

Opened this issue · 2 comments

At the bottom of my ~/.config/kdeglobals file there is the section [WM].
In this section I find the item "activeForeground". After searching a little I decided to "lock down" this value by putting [$i] in it so it would read like this: activeForeground[$i]=255,255,255
Only that has absolutely no effect.
The colors of the active foreground are just as easily overwritten as when I wouldn't have put the "[$i] in it.
Could be I'm overlooking something...

Oh, and I'm using the fantastic Lightly widget theme and the Lightly window decoration theme. Lightly is beautiful.

I'm very sorry to have bothered you. I understand now that this issue works a little less intuitive than I had thought but it works excellent. It has to do with the second file kdeglobals that is to be found in the folder ~/.config/kdedefaults.
I can have exactly what I want now.
And it is no bug and it certainly has nothing to do with Lightly...
