Update guide to reflect changes in notebooks

I'm comparing the master and student branch of the toolkit to see whether we can merge them.
I'm also creating a PR for the guide, to reflect the code changes in the snippets there.

I've read through the diffs of the master and student branch of the notebooks, they look fine.
Tomorrow, I will try to do as many of the exercises as possible, to ensure they are actually working.

I've read through the guide and fixed some minor typos/mistakes. But nothing big.
In the meantime, the master branch of the toolkit repro has already been merged into the student branch, so this is solved now.
