Issue description

Shader compilation/linking fails due to v_FadeInProgress not being written to in the vertex shader. I'm running extras along with Embeddium and Oculus, but I'm not necessarily sure Oculus is the problem here. The culprit is more likely mesa being stricter with the GLSL spec.

I have tested 10+ of the most popular shader packs, all with the same results.

try to disable fade in chunks?
