Plugin does not display when restored from server state

The plugin get's saved but doesn't get shown on reload.
To reproduce:
- Add custom plugin
- Add custom plugin code
- Save
- Share
- Copy and reload the page
- Plugin box is not shown

#131 turns the plugin display back on by default, which should close this issue
