T540p keyboard backlight does not work

I tested the T440p and T460 patches and most of the functions work nicely on my T540p.
Only the keyboard backlight does not work. The on-screen icon "backlight dimmed" is being displayed, but the keyboard is not lighting up.
The backlight is working on Linux and Windows and the ACPI method MLCS is present in my DSDT.
