Materials Graphics do not update while mining

Issue description
I am having a intermittent issue where the materials graphics will lag behind what my excavators are doing. Issue will usually occur at startup. It may go away, then come back.
Reproduction steps
- Load Attached Save
- Observe mining in coal or sand mine
- If graphics lag, they can be reset by pausing and then rotating camera and then unpausing.
