dockmate: window minimizes when middleclicking a link

Bug Report

Current Behavior
This is very strange and I can't pin it directly to dockmate but it started happening only when I installed dockmate. Basically, what I am noticing is that occasionally, when i middle click a link in chrome to open it in a new tab, the whole window minimizes. It seems to only happen in windows that I haven't opened in a while. Like come back to the computer in the morning, open some chrome window with some tabs, middle click a link with my mouse (Logitech MX Master 3 - no recent updates installed), window minimizes.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open an existing chrome instance
  2. middle click on a link with the mouse
  3. chrome window minimizes instead. the new tab does open.

Expected behavior/code
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen (or code).

Possible Solution

Additional context
¯_(ツ)_/¯

this might be related to #57

Have you tried just quitting DockMate and seeing if the issue persists?
I don't see how this could be related to DockMate.

It's very sporadic in general. I'm keeping a mental note of when it happens. It feels like something like if the computer comes back from sleep, window is minimized, then I bring it up from dockmate by clicking on thumbnail and then the first thing I do is middle click a link. Maybe the OS is still thinking it's minimized somehow and just trues up its state. But it's not always. I can't find anything else it might be but admittedly I'm not a Mac debugging expert (recently switched from Windows)
