The module doesn't work with 3-button mode, the system automatically switches to gestures mode, even if you try to change the parameter manually, whereas the module used to work with 3-button mode before.

This was changed because some devices had compatibility issues with that old method (replacing the stock overlays), it really wasn't something I wanted to do (even I enjoyed that seamlessness) but for the sake of compatibility I've had to do this
Wasn't there a way to integrate a choice when installing the module using the volume keys to activate or deactivate this change?

While it is feasible I chose not to add it to avoid feature creep and further further user confusion of trying to explain an option that functionally wouldn't mean much for most users
