Certain apps crash unless system webview is chosen

I installed mulch system webview and selected it in developer settings. However two apps: CVS and CVS Caremark both crash unless system webview is selected. The error in the log I see is:

AndroidRuntime: Caused by: android.util.AndroidRuntimeException: android.util.AndroidRuntimeException: android.webkit.WebViewFactory$MissingWebViewPackageException: Failed to load WebView provider: android.content.pm.PackageManager$NameNotFoundException: Application package us.spotco.mulch_wv not found

can confirm the following Banking apps also crash on start after login: Comdirect, Comdirect Trading, Deutsche Bank and Bank Norwegian
