Fullscreen Screen Recording Issue

I'm using Xbox Game Bar to record my game, but somehow when I do Fullscreen all it records is a black blank screen with the gray menu bar on top. Why is this? Can you fix it for me?

This is probably because full-screen mode is exclusive. Try using pseudo-full-screen mode (Shift+Enter) — as far as I understand it, it’s borderless windowed mode, i.e. a regular window that just occupies the entire screen.
