It would be nice, if possible, to have a red circle around the TODAY day number much like is seen in other calendar applications, so that the user can easily see which day is today.
I tried using a box with big border radius, but this changed sizes depending on the contents (and was sometimes an oval).
Just now in 79a8823, I tried using an SVG circle. This seems to work nicely.
