Weird behavior with more-results counter when 'reduce adtech' is enabled

Reduce adtech should reasonably yield the same or fewer search results from a given domain, yet when it is enabled, more results seem to appear. This seems consistent across many domains. While it may well be correct, this looks wrong and should be investigated and understood.
